Multiple references and footnotes

To create footnotes that link to the one reference, first use the footnote code to create a normal footnote, but give it a name.[1]

Several different footnotes can be used.[2]

Then, later in the article, you can create another footnote with the same name.[2][1] Such footnotes must have some FootnoteText or they will not work,[1] but the text can be anything. There is a footnote at the end of this sentence, but it does not appear because it has no text.[2]

And you can do this as many times as you like.
