The National Railway Time Service Co., Chicago, IL, was organized in September 1916 by W.M. Davidson, a former Railroad Time Service representative of J.W. Forsinger Watch Inspection Service, Mr. C.H. Ackart and two other associates. The company provided watch inspection services to railroads on a contract basis. The National Railway Time Service Co. was still in business in 1970, it's unclear how much longer the firm continued.
