Zenith Grandprix Paris 1900, Opinions

I have this watch and i have no idea about, i would love some collectors opinions.
I would also like to know if its history/engraving hurt the collectability and value of the watch. Translation in pics. Also wondering how one would rate The condition it is in and can the light scratches be fixed. This is the condition i received it in. It works fine.
Thank very much

One man’s opinion: The engraving does not hurt the collectibility. First, bc the largest value driver is the gold case. Second, it provides a date and potentially—with more historical research—a unique provenance.

The case could be polished, but polishing inside will efface the hallmarks. The case dent may be more difficult to find a repair, esp without leaving a mark. FWIW, I do not know that even a perfect repair would significantly change value vs cost. Others may disagree.

You may know this, but a closer view of the hammer symbol in the caseback can lead you to the actual case maker firm. Very helpful research from those gents!

From link above, 166 = case was made by
Henri JeanneretLe Locle

Looking at the movement sn, I have seen Zenith crossing 2mm in 1923, so I’m thinking this one near 2.4mm could line up close to the 1933 presentation.

Wondering the value on something like this, if you have an idea. Cheers

My rule of thumb is a range: spot price (14k here) x case by itself vs. spot price x complete watch.

The first is likely value as-is; the second is my rosiest picture (perfectly restored, right venue, right buyers). I base my restoration assessment on half the difference.

Cheers, i was thinking this was the case. The total weight is 71.23 grams. Would i be close to say 35-40g for the case.
