Well I basically done some casting in middle school and I'm 55. I made one other piece and didn't do it the proper way. As in a made an impression in casting sand and poured the brass I heated in my cast master furnace as level as possible then ground the back of the dial I was making. That was first try. Turned out pretty well actually.tell us more about your work. what was used etc.
Thanks. The problem is many times we don't have a duplicate to copy. I was lucky I got another clock with a dial that would work on another and I had 3 of the 4 from the othernicely done, i have a missing part on a clock need to someday cast. thanks.
