I am trying to date this watch. My guess is mid 50's. Anyone out there know for sure? It has an 11k movement and has a stainless case. Says "use allproof 1200 wrench" on bottom. It is opened by removing the crystal. 20220518_224909.jpg 11k movement in it. Thanks. 20220518_221952.jpg

My guess is that such a watch is from the early to mid 60's. My dad had a Wittnauer with an 11KAS movement that was purchased around 1968. It had what I think is a more modern center seconds hand rather than the subsidiary seconds bit/hand on yours. It may also be a clue that your watch has a single suffix letter, "K", rather than the "KAS". In addition, it appears as if the "K" is a manual wind movement, where the "KAS" is automatic. My guess is that it's the same movement, but with an auto-wind module added. Cheers.

Dr. Ranfft's site says it better:
