This just in from ebay. Brought for a whole $0.99 plus postage. I have never seen its like before and had to have it just to see how it worked. That said, I really like this little fella with his retro 70s styling. Anyone know anything about these? The only markings of any sort is a sticker on the bottom that says :Made in Hungary".

    A nice find, indeed!

Digitor alarm clocks show up once in a while, usually the
    electric types, though.

The movement may be West or East German make, I don't
    know yet.

Thank Jurgen! Yes, this is the first time I have seen on that isn't electric.

Kool Beenz, Pee-Tah! Nice to know that some enjoy clocks that are not necessarily esoteric or collectible but just sometimes, an enjoyable challenge.
Care to tell us of the challenges involved in resurrection?

Well, it came with half an alarm spring loose packed with it, so I knew that needed to be replaced. I was surprised to find that the other half had been removed at some point without splitting the movement. Cleaning the movement and replacing the spring was straight forward. The only real challenge was remembering where all the pieces that work the dials went. Let me tell you, there are a lot of odd springs and levers in there that are not like you would find in an ordinary movement! But I must have done something right as it works like a new one now.
