Some advice...? to dissolve the glue, acetone?

What happens that coils must be wound?
Thank you
Sometimes they burn out and working ones are scarce. I want to try to rewind them.
There are people who rewind them and I'm looking for their help to get started.

Thank you. Had no idea such was possible.
I would wind a new coil myself. How many turns? Anything special abouthe coil, such as being wound from lefto right and each subsequent wind being from left right?

Better to ask the experts.
The 0.015 mm wire will arrive next week from China and then, slowly, I will start.

I have wound other kinds of coils.
With no advice available, when unwinding the bad coil, I documented how it was wound and the number of turns.

No need to be sorry. No experts to ask.
I carefully did it by hand. A machine would have beenice!
Lost count of how many turns the large Tesla Coihas and no time to counthem.

One of the questions I would like to ask is if the carriage that distributes the wire moves along the axis coil?
If yes, manually or automatically?
If automatic how, since the coil is conical...?

Here's a question Chris is rewinding coils for electric watches. On his website he actually sells this as a service. So someone who has designed a machine to wind coils for electric watches sells the service how inclined is he to help you to make a machine to compete with him? This is why he may be busy because he's not in the business of building machines for people to compete with him or possibly even wanting to share exactly how he does it. But I may be wrong maybe will come and tell us exactly how he builds the machine because even with that knowledge you may still not be able to make the machine.

The problem with winding coils is normally you can just pull the wire off the spool and depending upon the coil the wire will lay itself down nice and even all by itself. But this is really really tiny wire I suspect you may not Be able to actually just pull it off the spool you may have to have a power feed for it. Then you probably definitely have to somehow lay the wire down on whatever your winding so all of that is going to have to be automatic. But that's just a guess on my part because this is really tiny wire.

While we may be wrong, I agree with John Runciman's assessment as to why Chris may not be checking in. While it could be something completely unrelated to this possibility, it would be understandable it it was.

It truly may be a bit too much to ask for Chris to give away what may have taken him a lot of hours to figure out. And, as JR mentioned, why would he give away what might be a valuable trade secret to a perfect stranger? Then again, he might just be too busy to check in here.

As far as the posts being conical, I believe he may have covered that in one of his videos. At least I seem to remember him doing so. Since the 218's are cylindrical, it would seem like they would be easier. Granted, the 214's seem to be more valuable to the present market, so re-wrapping them would probably be more lucrative.

FWIW, when I was around 20 years old in the late seventies, I worked at a small factory that made wire-wrapped resistors. From what I can remember, we used machines that resembled a miniature lathe (This may have been purely because they used what looked like a sewing machine motor.), but they did have a counter setup on them. In later years I was reminded of this work when I'd go fishing using a conventional fishing reel without a level-wind. We had to move the wire along the very small cylinder to try to make it as even as possible as we reached the proper number of winds for the ohms and tolerances. While these resistors were just a bit larger than the size of the posts/bobbins on Accutrons, at least they were more linear in shape, without the inconvenience of the circuit frame. Good luck.

Even me, if I were Chris, probably wouldn't be happy to "sell out" my ideas.
I was just hoping for some advice, since I'm not a professional and I'm on the other side of the globe anyway.

Did you try sending him a private message? I did notice on his website he's basically Booked to the end of time he's buried in work. But as the image shows below to track him down he still visiting the message board actively so I'm guessing if he wanted to take part in this discussion he would be taking part. But you can still send a private message and see if he responds he might not even respond to that. But even if he does reply it still conceivable that whatever he made is complicated. Of course we won't know until he tells us that otherwise we can just speculate.

Then not exactly what you're looking for but an amusing way of winding a coil. He also has another video showing winding a single layer coil. But in all his examples this wire is much much bigger than yours they can be pulled off the spool for instance.
