Two weeks ago bought this rather grand Liverpool longcase clock with four hands on the dial all from the centre. The engraving on inside the chapterring is marvellous, typical Liverpool style. After some restoration on the case etc. the clock now looks like it should and is ready for spending its time in the living room. Thanks to those who so helpfully advised on how to restore the front panel. It worked out well!
It's a handsome clock. I have seen one from up that way with the same centre dial treatment, may have been the same guy. Four handers are pretty special and very unusual, my best is three which is pretty standard fare though still unusual.
