    Hello clock friends,
Sorry for being absent for a while but I am back again.
I got hold of this Wickes Electric 24 Hour electro-mechanical clock in 2014, sitting on the back burner and try to have a go to get it working again.
The 110 Volts 60 Hz motor was open circuit, but I am converting it to 240 Volts 50 Hz anyway.
For this I am planning to use a microwave oven turntable motor which runs at 4 RPM which is the speed I need for the pinion gear to drive the coloured number wheel.
The roll over between 2400 and 0000 Hours is very interesting as the counter counts up to 2900 before going to the zeroes.
Did they ever make a motor assembly for 50 Hz ?
