I am trying to find any info on the movement with the only mark on it "Foreign 10 cm". Just for curiosity. It seems to be a well made movement.
I just a hobbiest but this seems to nicely made and works well. I just oiled it is all.
Thanks!

The term 'Foreign' on a clock movement indicates that the clock was manufactured outside the U.K. for imporation into the U.K. The requirement was effective in 1926.

Since most clocks imported into the U.K. at that time were from Germany, you most likely have a German made movement.

Regards.

EDIT: It looks like roughbarked and I were typing at the same time. :)

Is there anything stamped on the back side of the movement?
