• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

I think this is the trade mark of Tomoe Co (Japan) but if you can take the movement out of the case and show us photos of the back plate it might be possible to be more definite.

This is the trademark of the Tomoe Company of Japan. Trademark is confirmed on the Mikrolisk website but no date of registration. The Japanese clock manufacturers had a field day copying American movement outlines and successfully ousting American involvement in the Japanese market. This interesting discussion was found in a 1912 document regarding domestic and foreign clock manufacturers:

In reality the clock industry was tough, vicious, dog-eat-dog, and simply brutal for many involved. But we got many nice timepieces out of all this.
