It looks like an early Chelsea Pilot House Clock.As to the one that I started this thread inquiring about, hopefully someone will recognize it. News conference video gives a much clearer image then the photo provided. . . hoping it's distinctive acorn finials will eventually I.D. it.
Presumably the office has more than one door and he was trying to differentiate between doors? My preproom at work has 5 doors and I have similar difficulty, I can never just say it is behind the door.but this is my favorite - -

According to fhis article, there is a new clockmaker in town.
I'd guess 8". The link described a 10" Chelsea Pilot House Clock clock with an 8" dial.It is not a Tambour. It is as mentioned in the thread might be a Chelsea pilot house in a made up wooden base to hold it. The picture not good enough to tell if 8 1/2 inch or 10 inch dial.
