• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

where to buy Welch Patti mainsprings

Can anyone help please, I am in Australia and I keep collecting Welch Patti clocks but they all happen to need new mainsprings, but here in Australia I cannot locate a supplier, so was hoping that someone there may be able to tell me the website to go look to buy. I know the part number, but cannot find the supplier to go buy them. Here's hoping some one knows, thanks in advance, Hutch.

LaRose was the only supplier that had Patti mainsprings that I know of. R & M Imports bought them out last year. I purchased the last four Randy had. He said he could have some more made, but I don't know how long that takes.

The spring you need for a "Patti" movement is"
5/16" wide x .010" strength x 74 1/2" long.
As you probably already know there are two in each barrel. Pay particuliar attention when taking them apart so you will understand how to get them back properly.
The old part number was a Vigor CMH 80.10.
Say "Hello" to Doug Minty if you see him.
