What type of PW case is this?

    It has a front that opens kind of like a hunting case but it's not spring loaded and the front is glass.

    I assume you mean what kind of case is this?

    The early cases had large front bezels and were hinged at the bottom.

    It is just a standard 3 hinged open face case.

    Later on they reduced the size of the bezels so that they could save on the cost of the case.

    "Double-hinged back and bezel" is how I've seen them described.
