Hi brand new to this and trying to learn a bit about a new clock from my family.
I really only know it is a Hermle with brass glass case that is rectangular (see pics). My Mom bought it at an estate sale several years ago so I don’t know it’s history. I can’t find a model number in it any where. There is a 27b on the bell hammer tones.
Would like to understand its age (the FHS stamp has no numbers or letters just a clock behind the FHS stamp). Also if it has any value. I do like the clock but the wife is not real fond of it. :)

could anyone help with age/value? Thx!!
Sorry also would like to know how it works. Left wind hole for hourly strike? Center for time? And Right for quarterly chime? Can I not wind quarterly chime and it still work?

CW,
Probably made in the late 50s to mid 60s. A decent movement, made before the planned obsolescence idea took hold around 1970. Nice clock.

Clock values are way down. I recently bought a nice chiming mantel clock (not working) for $30.00 from an antique store. If yours is working, it might fetch a couple of hundred .... but don't bet on it.

I agree with Willie - nice clock. One thing that pops out to me is that the movement does not appear to have much wear on the pivots, which bodes well for it running well without a lot of repair.
