What are These Exactly? Pushers?

Thank you in advance for clearing this up for me. I have used these now and again for this and that ... but honestly I am not sure as to exactly what they were precisely intended. Getting old but not too old to learn!

Pushers for hands perhaps? They look a lot like my modern hand pushers, except for the ends being steel instead of plastic.

I would say either hands or jewels.

Thank you two ... I thought jewel pushers ... but I always seem to grab the six legged one! They have never been abused ... not hammered over .. the holes are still good .. but I couldn't figure the deep pockets ... like why bother you know?

I'll rack them up in the pusher drawer! Zeke
