Westclox Big Ben Chime Alarm

    Can someone point me to some pictures or instruction on how to set the "cam" on this Big Ben chime alarm.
    According to the date stamp it was manufactured 1 13 1936, if that makes any difference. When the alarm is engaged the alarm begins immediately regardless of what hour it is, and runs continuously until the spring runs down.
    Additionally, the hammer does not strike the bell. It doesn't look like it's bent out of shape to me.

    As I understand it it should begin with a soft intermittent chime and then progress to continuous alarm.

    Thanks Bangster, I've seen a short video of his on this type clock, but it doesn't address the strange cam gears alignment. It looks to work somewhat like a stopworks on a ST.
    I'll send him an email.
