Wednesday Coffee and Horology 5-10-2023

To all and then some,

We continued our watch talk with the focus on Modern watches which often display the day, date, month, and/or year. Electronic watches which include timers, chronographs and alarm functions. Some modern watches even include calculators, GPS, and Bluetooth, and heart-rate monitoring.

Why collect watches? The most expensive watch ever sold at auction was a Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime fetching $31.19 MILLION!! Keep your eyes open at the next MART.

Here is the link to the recording of this week's Wednesday Coffee and Horology meeting. It is suggested that we all "like" the video.

Here are the links to the events and things mentioned during the recording.

Enjoy sharing horology,
Frank Webster

If you would like to receive an invitation to these Zoom meetings PM Frank. There are different topics each week. The invitation includes the weekly topic. Those on the invitation list receive the link to the recording in their email box. The meetings are on Wednesday morning at 8:30 (EST) and last for 30 minutes. Just enough time to enjoy a cup of coffee and a little horology.
