Does anyone know who actually made the Webb C. Ball street clock? We know he used Seth Thomas and E. Howard clocks and watches. The head of the clock is identical to a Seth Thomas but not the column and base. The column has ionic decorations.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Frank,

Here are two photos that I believe suggest that Seth Thomas might have been contracted to make the Webb C Ball street clock. This illustration is out of the Tran Duy Ly 3rd edition Volume 2. Seth made several different top ornaments for the head and the one on the Ball clock is very similar to the No. 6 style.
    Hope this helps.
