The book is a catalog of a traveling exhibit of modern watchmaking by some leading independent watchmakers. These are contemporary watches and I suspect they are for sale.
As watch books go this is a good one. I has a lot of very fine pictures of watches showing the dials hands movement and casework,
The makers are:
Denis Flageollet (Under De Bethune)
Jean Daniel Nicolas (for Raniel Roth)
The book has few introductory essays and puff pieces.
The meat of the book is the sections on the makers. These begine with portraits of teh makers and some of the their shops. It show the dials cases and movements of the featured watches and has a summary of the key aspects such as the name of the watch its functions, its frequency and parts count.
Most of these are simple but very elegant watches.
Overall the book is a good job but it has a silly typo on the Geroge Daniels watch, which clearly has a date function which is omitted from the list of functions of the watch
