There's a section at the top of this forum called "Watch parts wanted". Your question may be better placed there.

It's usually easier to find a balance complete than a working hairspring right out of the box. I'm not sure if the same applies to these old, American watches though.

While looking thru my supply for a Hampden hairspring I did find a couple of NOS 0 size Illinois hairsprings. I'll check later tonight and see what strength they are.

The parts wanted thread is hard to understand on this forum for those of us that ask for help using our phones.
I could go to my computer and get it done easily.

I'm still looking for a hairspring, or even a donor parts movement to steal one from.
