I have this watch in for servicing and did not find it in the nawcc-info database. It is a hunter cased 1897 movement marked Am Watch Co, WALTHAM , MASS, PEER. It also bears the wording 17 JEWELS, ADJUSTED. The balance is bimetal with two gold screws, the rest brass, the hairspring has a Breguet overcoil and a star regulator. The centre wheel is gold, the plates damascened. The case is English made by Dennison and composed of 10carat gold plate guaranteed to wear 20 years, its grade/style is MOON. I hope that this information is of use to you.

The gray book lists serial number range 20011501 - 20012200 as being exactly what you have. It might have been missed out during data entry.

You mentioned accessing the "NAWCC info data base", how do you do that? (I'd like to try to find a Waltham watch s/n 11185162).

Thanks,
Sam

Sam:

The link and notes on using it and the Model & Grade Report are in the Waltham Watches wiki article.
