• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Serial listing confirms 1885, ex balance, stem set, o.f., premium parts. Still unsure it is siderial time adjusted and Lincoln name used for other Walthams. Would a watch timeing machine indicate siderial time? I suppose a 24 hour comparison might might only show inaccuracy. artbissell

A sideareal day is roughly 4 minutes shorter than a civil day. This difference will be readily apparent on a timing machine.

THANKS for reminder. 4 minutes in 24 hrs probably enough for running comparison with a quartz clock and I have a serviced model 92 Siderial probably good enough to compare. Unless it was adjusted in the past toward standard time. art

This odd model 83 I am certain is a siderial watch. It easily ran 24 hours with one winding indicating the 2 minutes difference in 12 hours and 4 minutes in 24 hours. Any other ABE LINCOLN Wathams or model 83 siderials known ? art

Thanks for photos showing another. Numbered about 500,000 serial higher. So not unique. art b
