Another interesting piece that is coming to me soon. I coudn't find much about the brand on Google, so any info is very welcome. It's working and it has an interesting bracelet. That minute hand looks like a replacement but it's interesting anyway. I like the patina... I paid only $27,95 for it.

From mikrolisk we see that the name Vedeor was registered to the sons of P.Schwarz-Etienne SA, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1944. The movement of your watch is marked Swiss made, so I presume this was the maker.

I see from your flag that you are in Brazil. The name Vedeor was also registered to A. Coblentz of Rio de Janeiro in 1948.

I suspect that A. Coblentz would have been the Brazilian agent for Fils P. Schwarz-Etienne, and registered the name for marketing and sales reasons.

The watch looks as if it might well date from late 1940s to early 1950s, so the dates would seem to fit.

    Others may know more.

Congratulations - for the price you paid I think you got a very nice watch!

I wonder if the bracelet is original? It looks very thin and narrow compared with the size of the watch. Anyway, I think the watch looks good.

It's a vintage JB watch band... I saw a man caracter on an movie from th 1940's wearing a watch with a similar thin band... I can't remember wich movie was...
