Valuable or not????

Hello everybody. I need an opinion. I received this watch and I don't know if I should keep it or sell it. I would be interested in restoring it, but I don't know anything about it anymore. Can you help me with some details about these watches? Valuable or not?

Hi Gerorginio , and wellcome to this message board! Your pics show a good quality swiss 15jewel anchor movement encased in a steel/gun metall case with a display crystal instead of a cuvette made IMO at the beginning of the 20th century and retailed by the Henry Moser company which specialized in exports of quality watches to eastern Europe , especially to Russia. The case has suffered from corosion , but not too badly . It would need a full professional service before taken in everydays use which will cost about what this watch is worth. OTOH will this watch -once serviced- provide a timekeeping well sufficient to catch a bus or attend a meeting.The display dust cover is a nice feature.I´d keep it.

If you have received the watch from a near and dear relative, then it is undoubtedly a very valuable watch. I recommend that you take it to a watchmaker for a service and then enjoy it.

Agreed, but just to clarify, it is really only 'very valuable' from a sentimental point of view.
