I have been given this clock and in searching the Tran Duy Ly bible, cannot find it listed anywhere. It has the shape of the "Ionic" model but without the small rosettes between the two cases. I've enclosed a photo of the dial trademarking - does this seem like an Ingraham to you? This may be a rather common clock but I thought I'd throw it out there to be sure.
As always, thanks in advance for your help.

Dave,

The trademark on the dial is that of E&J Swigert, a Cincinatti company that made replacement dials.

Can you provide any pictures of the movement?

Regards.

I must take my statement back - the case (except for the rosettes) DO look very much like an Adams or Erie. Question - did either of those companies purchase movements from Ingraham? My movement does indeed look original......

I suspect the whole clock was made by Ingraham as a special make.

Interestingly, both units Steve found are calendar movements. When you find what your clock dial looked like, you can get a very nice replacement to match the original Ingraham dial from Dan McCann. He does great work for a reasonable amount of money. If you go that route you can contact Dan at: timeguardian427@yahoo.com Your movement looks like it might be a half deadbeat escapement. They can be a bit quirky to work on. Both train second wheels look worn. Good luck on your project.

Let's try this again - Since your assessment stated a possible special make, what would that mean in terms of rarity?
I don’t like using the term rare in any event, but I certainly would not call an Ingraham clock rare, not even a special make.
