Unusual early case for an 1873 Model 1 Elgin

It is not marked. But from tarnishing and the little wear that shows it appears to be with coin or silver plate. It is a stunning case. Does anyone have any information about the maker?

It's a very nice looking case and HH Taylor(one of my favorite grades).
I don't think that Elgin HH Taylor was the first inhabitant of that case.

I concur with Rob, the movement doesn't even seem to fit the case, it looks a little small like a larger movement formerly resided in it.
