    Hi,
I have learned a lot about this watch from very knowledgeable members at vintage Gruen forum.
Everything *except* who manufactured this case for United Watch....a Gruen subsidiary.

Please, does anyone recognize this punch: JP?

    Thank you!

Apologies for typos, did this on phone. First post so please, forgive. I should say, I've spent quite a bit of time on this and am a fairly competent researcher. I have looked into everyone w JP on Mikrolisk but was hoping to tap into knowledge here bc I may have overlooked something. Another photo with all Poincons de Maître. Thanks.

And here is a link to the other known example of this case maker "JP" under the Gruen brand.

    No pictures of the movement?
The JP would be a sponsor's mark and makes the watch probably not older than 1920?
This may not be the correct one but it is the closest I can get so far.

    Hi,

I am not 100% sure because I was not able yet to locate a proof, but 66% certain that the maker is the factory of "Joseph Paratte-Gygi" in Le Noirmont. Another 25% for "Paul Jobin" in Porrentruy and the rest for everyone else(Paul Jacky & Cie, Paul Jobin-Aubry, Justin Piz,...).

Joseph Paratte was running his factory from 1902 to 1918. There is not much known about the company especially it is not known which marking they used.

Thanks for your response. The watch is certainly pre 1920 and may date to even before the Great War. It is a ladies wristlet.
Yes the movement is Calibre 94. First assigned to Marc Favre. Credit to Barney Green for that ID.

Thanks for your response. This manufacturer was not on my radar so it's very much appreciated. I had run out of leads. Way cool to see a *possible* pic of the manufacturer, interesting, for now 66% absolutely works. I'll see if I can uncover anything.
