Does anyone have any idea what this stopwatch is? Works like a stopwatch needs 60s for a cycle, it was posted on reddit not in my possession.

The logo 'Minerva' on your stop watch is that of Fabrique d'Horlogerie Minerva SA, in Villeret, Switzerland. Mikrolisk states that the logo was registered in 1938.

That does not mean the watch dates from 1938, just that it is unlikely to be before then.

The Minerva 14 seems to fit the large range of things it could do and the number of calibers it generated. Not to mention that it fits the dating.

The answer is in the dial, Chronomatic was the first chronocomparator to regulate watches made by Vibrograf.
Regards enrico

Well both answers seem to be on the dial. 'Minerva' logo belong to Fabrique d'horlogerie Minerva SA and 'Chronomatic' of Vibrograf.

I wonder how they were related?

The word chrono comparator, the Minerva chronograph was used to compare the operation of watches. In modern ones, an electronic circuit generates the necessary frequencies.
