I have a pocket watch that has the name of Ulysse Perrt in script on the inside back cover where you place the key to wind also the word Locle is etched in on the inside cover (Back). "Ulysse Perret" name is etched on to a bar in the works of the watch.
I'm trying to get some info on the watch maker and how old the pocket watch is.

Ulysse Perret was really George Ulysse Perret who lived from 1868-1933 and worked in Locle. The watch by my guess is 1890-1910. JFL

Thanks JFL for the information that you provided. Do you know the value range for this pocket watch? I'm also looking for Civil War era pocket watches. Do you know of any web sites that may be selling these types of watches? Thanks again!

Sorry, zdawg, we don't do values here.

You should be able to find quite a few recent sales of similar watches on eBay.
