Attached are photographs of two similar wall clocks I believe to be mid century that I sold a while back to a chap in the Czech Republic. I recently mistakenly thought they were the same or at least similar to a Vedette clock post here.

They were a joy to play with and the chimes were truly sublime. Whgerever they now are I hope they briong hapiness and good time keeping to their current owners!

The first (4?) pics are an ODO 24 or 54 clock with Westminster chimes. Do you say there are 2 chimes on it? How many rods are there? This clock is quite different than the Vedette one as it was made in the Vosges part of France while your ODO was made in the Jura/Morbier part of France while. That clock should sound great, but sad that you sold!

The second clock (last 4 pics) is a Girod, not a Vedette. That has two chimes: Westminster and Cloches de Jura. You can tell it is a war time (early 40s to mid 40s) clock based on the steel plates. Again, sad that you sold this! But you enjoyed them for a period of time at least!
