Trade Mark Clock...Who & When?

I'm hoping someone can give me some info on my Trade Mark clock. Trade Mark is the only marking on the dial and also on the movement with a prancing horse. Clock has seen considerable use with wear to dial, case and movement. Some of the pivot holes have been prick punched to "fix" wear. Case is dark chockolate brown paint over what appears to be pehaps a gesso undercoat. The clock looks foreign to me maybe pre war Japanese? Any info much appreciated!

Thanks,
Rich

The trademark on the dial, which looks like self-added by a previous owner or a poor attempt at restoration is that of Seikosha. The horse on the movement might be Owari, though the Owari horses I've seen are a bit different. It is Japanese, maybe 1930's(?).

I dont think my dial on my Owari clock is marked, only the movement has the horses trademark. Perhaps this dial did come from a Seikosha clock.

Thanks guys, I knew someone would have the answers! It's gratifying to learn it is Japanese, that was my guess but I had nothing to base it on, just a hunch. On closer inspection the "Trade Mark" on the dial does look a bit crude and my have been added later. it is however worn consistent with the rest of the dial. Thanks again for the info!

It appears that the dial may be a paper add on to cover the original dial. These are very common and sometimes several deep!

Thanks Charlie for your response & the link to your web site. My clock appears to be an Owari, the logo on the movement looks like your ANMO2B. The dial is painted and appears to be original. Any additional thoughts appreciated.
