I have been compiling a list of Touchon serial numbers. Asterisked items are ones I have collected. I have not seen any of the other watches, but I have gleaned information from them from auction catalogs, web sites, etc. I cannot vouch for their accuracy. For example, the dates are all from Antiquorom catalogs, but seem inaccurate. I would be obliged if you would send me serial number information about your Touchons for me to add to my list. ethanlipsig@paulhastings.com.

Mr. Lipsig's list of the Touchon movements would be more valuable if it would provide more information on the movements listed. In a private correspondence of 2007, Mr. Vassiliadis expressed an opinion that at least two different number lists for such movements existed. My Touchon movement , size 19''' (~ 16), bears the number 31,061. It has 21 jewels and 7 adjustments. According to Vassiliadis it was likely manufactured in the period 1908 -1909. It also has a private label inscription 'Ryrie Century'. Its meaning is not clear enough. Ryrie Brothers was an up-scale jeweler in Toronto, which marketed high class watches, among others by Patek, Agassiz, etc., but at the time of manufacturing of this Touchon movement it was incorporated into a large Canadian jewelers chain : 'Birks'.
