• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Found this at the bottom of a box of old clocks from a garage. It is in pretty bad shape. All the wires are barely attached and definitely need to be replaced. Before I go any further with trying to resurrect it I thought I would reach out to someone who might know something about it.

Attached are 2 pictures, first is the face of the clock, the second is a picture of the battery carriage from within the base. Really sorta weird.

Date specified on the fave says 1904 Says Tiffany never - wind, Buffalo N.Y. USA Pat, Mar 8, 1904

I doubt it is a "real" Tiffany but if it is I will devote a lot of time trying to restore it. Sorry for no other pictures but it is in pieces..... if I do decide to got further I am going to have to find a wiring and adjustment diagram.... or docs or something.

Thanks for any help. Pretty sure it will head for the dumpster though.

It is a "real" Tiffany, just not a Tiffany & Co. George Steele Tiffany patented his electric clock in 1904 and was promptly sued by Tiffany & Co. because he used his own name, their trademark, for his company. He lost.

There are several posts and wiring diagrams on the message board. Here is mine:

Tiffany Never-Wind

Good parts for these can be hard to find, so please don't throw it out.
