Numbers on the back are 18
then 89523. Any idea what it is?
this is a beautyfull art deco german bracket clock of good quality : I see mainsprings in barrels,a full back plate and a spring loaded governer fore the strike . Made in the 20ies I´d guess.
Deserves a professional cleaning before used!
I agree with Burkhard, very nice quality movement ,although I suppose it could have been made early 1930s. Anyhow, a good quality clock and very attractive.
The way the pendulum bob is suspended is unusual (at least to me) and ought to give someone a clue as to who the maker may have been.
A very good thrift store find and will look wonderful when all cleaned up.
That pendulum suspension kinda reminds me of an old URGSOS design. But not for certain. Nice looking movement. I am a sucker for Art Deco
