    We read over five million registered by Health Insurance, at the year’s end will lose their coverage. Should they connect with another Health Insurer would their current Doctor be obligated to give his former patient the file on his/her health…so the new physician can look and read into his new patient’s health?

    Fortunately, I am not involved in such an, almost, unthinkable process.

    Yes, Dan, they would. Federal law makes an individual's medical record their property, not that of the doctor or the coverage provider.
