I found this Gilbert at the local flea market .. $5.00 .. couldn't resist at that price. It was being sold as a parts clock, but it looks complete and with some cleaning I think it will be fine. Also picked up a nice lot of brass rod for bushings.

Good looking Normandy Chime tambor, Bill. That case should clean up real nice

Thanks Harold .. I think that it will clean up very nicely.

I'll post some better pictures in a few weeks after I have had time to clean it. I hope that the chime on this one sounds as good as some of the others I have had

I have a Colonial/Winterhalder grandfather clock that I'm restoring for my wife right now, and that's a priority of course. I also have a lot of pictures(before and after) of that project that I'll post when it's finished.
