I thought that this is also relevant for European watches. I'm sure this would have been the same in Factories in Switzerland in the 20's

Got it..........., My only non-UK watch of any period pre-1860 is French and a colonial. The Illinois were machine made watches as
I'm sure the Swiss were in 1920's. Carry on. Keith

Thanks for posting this film Kurtnz. I found the whole thing absolutely fascinating. All those drive belts whizzing around and the deft handling of small parts by the workers was very interesting to watch. A truly "in house" watch:coolsign:

I don't know where my head was at, (thanks for sharing). I actually got to see the old site location of the original Rockford factory while in Illinois working
near the Rock river. I'm not sure to the continued existence of this old Illinois factory. Keith.
