this very cool... a knitting clock... one stitch every half an hour, and after 365 days it drops a two meter scarf.

there is apparently also a tall case version...

hmm... i think you were trying to be 'knit-witty', but left out the witty part.

what interests me is how she makes it do a stitch every half an hour... perhaps an arduino-type device? i couldn't find any information on how the thing works except for this:

"the clock houses a circular knitting machine with 48 needles, a thread spool, a thread holder and roll of yarn. moving in clockwise direction, one day leads to a complete round, while a year gives users 2 meters of a complete scarf."
