I joined Chapter 1 in 1964...at that time i was gung-ho about clocks!

My creative juices acted up and I built this 3/4 size Pillar and Scroll...using a Seth Thomas
half hour and hour strike movement. The tablet was reverse painted, I still have some of the
paints in a cabinet that holds a lot of horologic stuff.

George Burns sings a song "I wish I were 18 Again."

I wish I were "50 years of age again" when I built this timepiece.

What a wonderful clock, poem and label! Thank you for sharing. Do you still have the clock?

No. I gave it as a gift to my employer at that time. In the past he bought other clocks from me.

I think his son inherited the timepiece some years later.
