This should warm the cockles of your heart
The last dog that we raised from puppyhood - after his first bath. (Our current 7 are all older rescues. Haven't had a puppy around for awhile!)
The rat pack Left to right: Honey, Fletcher, Willow, Coco and Candy. Coco & Fletcher are my dogs and Honey, Willow and Candy belong to my daughters. My wife and I have had a large part in raising all of these over the last five years. Rat pack reunions happen regularly and bring us much joy.
Just by looking at the faces of the Rat Pack...you can tell a lot about the joy they bring into the human life. I almost envy when you get together with the Rat Pack.
The look on their faces tell a wonderful story about the need of animal vs human.
Those that never kept a dog or cat do not have a sliver of an idea of what they are missing in their lives.
Typical of dogs to take over the couch!
Every time I look at your rat pack...it brings a smile of joy to me just thinking about the look they are giving to the one taking the photo. It's worth framing and showing to all dog or cat lovers everywhere.
Thank you Dan! I have always found a little kindness goes a long way when dealing with all animals.
Great thread Dan, thanks for stating it.
Peter, looks like a great group of four legged kids. You can almost feel the love in the room just from the picture.
Dave, I'm with you on the rescues. Currently have 2 dogs & 4 cats, mostly living in harmony, all rescues. I will never support a breeder while the shelters are full of dogs & cats just hoping to find a home where they can be loved.
Unfortunately, I just lost my baby, a little Yorkie (the one in my profile pic) who took over my heart. She had pancreatitis, mega esophagus, was blind, and totally owned me. Strange how certain ones bond more than others with you. It's been a rough month....
A little tummy to rub:
My sympathies, Scott! I know that kind of hurt.
I know from experience...it hurts!
