Just FYI, the NAWCC works with several services which provide collection insurance, collection verification, and theft recovery assistance to our membership (as well as to the general public).

One of those services is the excellent Art Loss Register.

Their official website is Registration is free for NAWCC members.

Not only can you register vital recovery info about your collection with this incredibly valuable service, but all exchange of information is completely confidential. In addition, the Executive Director and General Counsel of the organization is a long-time NAWCC member who is himself a watch collector and therefore takes the recovery of stolen horological items EXTREMELY seriously.
