• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

I bought this tall clock case at a small shop. It did not have a movement, but I knew the case was old . I don't think it is a American clock because of its round dial. I put in a new movement and got the dial from a pier one store. (sorry had to do it.)
The case has hand made nails and I think the wood is walnut. Does anyone know the age of the case or the orgin of the clock?

Thanks
Jeff

Jeff,
The bit I can see looks like walnut but the picture (tallclock7.jpg) only half loads

I think your picture is too large so we cannot see the clock!
Only the top third is visible; what size is the file? 100kB or less is what to aim at; straight off a digicam often gives several mB - too big, so you need to reduce it using PSP or similar software.
