Suspension Unit Holding Screws

Many 400-day clocks needing repair have a missing suspension wire (including upper and lower blocks; and fork) and the little holding screw that goes through the top block. Where does one find these suspension unit holding screws? Is there a common screw size for many of the units on the market after 1950? I have a Kundo junior from the 70s that needs one at the moment.

Thanks!

If you can't find the screws, a taper pin will work.

You can get the suspension spring screws for Hermle and Kieninger from Timesavers. If they don't have the same threads you could re-tap the post. #15796; 22962 respectively.

Thank you very much for your replies! Very useful! I was looking in the Timesavers online catalog, but could not find the part. Thanks Shutterbug for providing the part number.

Glad to know that this part is available and where to obtain it!!!
