Suspension Rod Help

Hi Fellows,
I have a Vienna wall clock made by Maurer, Pfaff & Maier or perhaps Uhrenfabrik Villigen AG, depending on what year it was actually made. But, judging by the style, I believe it's somewhere between 1895 and 1910. The suspension rod/spring had some previous, severe bends up near the point of attachment and looked like it was hanging by a thread. Well tonight it broke and will need to be replaced. The overall length is approximately 3.75 inches and it is one solid piece.

My question is, will this two piece, "cut to length" style, offered by Timesavers, work in place of the original?

Yes Joe, they will work. Sometimes we have to trim the sides down.

I'm happy to report that, with the new suspension rod/spring installed, my old clock is finally back up and running well after who knows how many decades.
It's a good day.
