I ran across this issue on another forum. Apparently, iOS11 is saving images in HEIC format - High Efficiency image format. I don't posses any of those type images as I don't run with Apple products. Will this be an issue on the forum?

I'm not positive about this, but I believe the format allows multiple exposures to be combined into one image. It does this automatically, I think. I suspect the final image will be compatible here.

I have the iPhone X. I’ll try to post a pic I took from my front window this morning. It’s in the highest format setting.

Edit: back to the computer to check it out. Seems ok here. If you have the 11, try one.

Sure doesn't look like Iowa. Are those big gray bumps distortion? :)

I am running iOS 13.6 on my iPhone 6S and the pictures seem fine.

Unless the file type changes, the image structure should be compatible. Of course there are no real standards anymore just community agreement.

Yes, a big change from Iowa, Tom. I wish I'd made the move sooner! I'm liking the NC Smokey's and the warmer weather that goes with it :D
