Sunbeam Quartz Mantle Clock

I have a nice Sunbeam Mantle clock, model 882-494, with a quartz movement with a separate speaker. It runs beautifully, but it has a 2 issues: When it plays the westminster chime, it fails to play the hour count; also, it doesn't play the chime until about 3 minutes past the hour. Is there any way to fix this, or should I simply replace the movement? Thanks guys!
