    A wonderful old picture, and a cropped version showing just the street clock. I presume this is of the type that has the movement in the basement of an adjacent building, with the drive shaft extending under the sidewalk. This picture showed up on a Facebook page called "Very Old Images of New York".

    Can anyone here identify the maker of the clock?

    Looks like we are looking up Broad street looking at Federal Hall (26 Wall St, New York, NY 10005)

    EDIT sorry I just saw the title said it was Broad street
