Strange 9 Bell Sonora?

    Saw this video today. Regular setup with the 8 bells for whittington/westminster, but the hour is struck on a large dome bell. Part of me wants to say a marriage, although it could also be an original 1-off piece. What do you all think?

    I'm not an expert on Seth Thomas Sonora Chime clocks but It is the first time I've seen the strike on a large bell. I wish we could see more pictures of the case and movement.

    Custom set up. The big 9th bell is a plain English style bell struck by a vertical hammer. Nothing that can be seen of the case suggests a production model from Seth Thomas' range.

    Gotta love the Sonora bells, really a step up from the stacks of plain bells you find on older chime clocks.
