Why, do you have a couple of these? The last price guide had them between $18-70,000depending on condition, can't say I ever saw one for auction so no price comparisons.

One of each passed through Jones-Horan last year. The 16-size brought $21,500 and the 4-size brought $8,000. Search their sales archive for "Waltham Crystal Plate" and you will find them and be able to see condition, etc.

These have dropped big time, especially the smaller sizes. The problem of them lies in 1. most of the larger size are damaged, 2.most of the smaller ones are re-cased and/or damaged or with relaxed cocks.

Large sized ones have brought over 100K when perfect.

The large size you wrote are 100,000 and up. How about the undamaged small size values?

How many survived small / large undamaged. Conceivably, 10 of each?

Hi, there are many more small ones than large--maybe 30 or so small ones. I have seen re-cased

"off condition" small ones sell for 6, 8 or 10K.

What do you have, serial number, cased?

COMPUTER ERROR!]

NOT "relaxed"......the word is recased! This means purposely cased up or "switched" into a better case!

I think the OP may be interested in buying one rather than selling one, but wants to know how much to pay.

FYI "mint" is a flavor, not a condition.

I own several unused ones, but these are extremely rare especially the lg. ones.

I know of small sized ones in unused condition selling for up to 20K.

An important question might be, " how much does Ms Mary R want to spend?"

Also, it is VERY advisable that she uses an expert on these when considering a purchase.

Jon

PS Mine are not for sale and permanently reside in the WGC.
